TQF Kids | Meet Pair and Um

With so many different projects happening like ticking off The Covenant House and Jodie O’Shea Orphanage wish lists, it’s been a little while since we’ve shared a story about our sponsored kids.

This month we have the pleasure of introducing you to Pair and Um two of our newer sponsored children. Like most of our kids their situation is tough.

Um and his mother and father welcomed Pair, his sisters daughter into their home after her mother moved to the east coast to look for work. Sadly Pair ‘s mum can’t make it back even once a year to visit. To help support Pair and Um, Um’s mother makes grass roof tiles and his father gets work locally when he can.

Um, is seven years old, is currently in grade two. He loves school especially writing and as you can see he takes great pride in his homework. Pair is a year younger at six and is in preschool.
