This month we have the pleasure of introducing you to Cartoon, one of the youngest kids in The Q Foundation’s care.
Cartoon lives with her grandmother and grandfather in a bamboo hut with a dirt floor on the edge of the river, deep in the jungle.
Like many of our kids, Cartoon is doing it tough, and this has been impacted further by another child in the village coming to live in the same hut – another mouth to feed in an already struggling household.
Though despite their troubles, they make the most of what they have. Cartoon’s grandparents are very house proud and are such lovely people. Cartoon has followed their example.

At six years old, Cartoon dreams of being a nurse when she grows up – and given she has a beautiful smile that greets everyone she meets; we think she would make a wonderful nurse!
Sadly there are many more children in a similar situation as Cartoon. But with your help, we can continue to bring health, hope and happiness to the lives of more children right around the world. Click here to donate or sponsor a child today.
