INTRODUCING OUR FIRST TQF AMBASSADOR, JACKIE LOEB!

AJackieWords can’t express how excited we are to have the extraordinary Jackie Loeb helping us to raise awareness for The Q Foundation.

Winner of the prestigious and iconic 2016 Australian ‘MO Award’ for ‘Best Live Comedy Act’ and selected as an official Australian juror for the ‘2017 Eurovision Song Competition’, Jackie Loeb has maintained her reputation as one of today’s most hilarious and multi-talented Comedians while simultaneously distinguishing herself as an MC, Actor, Vocalist, Musician and loyal follower of ‘The Cats of Instagram’.

Founder of The Q Foundation, Jennifer Jefferies had this to say about Jackie.

“It’s with great excitement that we welcome Jackie as an ambassador for The Q Foundation. I approached Jackie as she has a great talent for delivering deep yet necessary messages with sensitivity and compassion, and engages her audience in a way that makes people stand up and take notice.”

What did Jackie have to say about being an ambassador for The Q Foundation?

“I am deeply honoured to be an Ambassador for ‘The Q Foundation’. I have been fortunate in that I have had access to an education, clean drinking water and to live in a country where at the end of the day I can lay my head on a pillow and know that I am safe. I believe every child should be entitled to the same life essentials. No child should have to go without food, water or an education. And children throughout the world should be able to lay their young joyful heads on a pillow and feel the same sense of safety too.”

A little more about Jackie…

Jackie has performed at events for IBM, The NSW Police Force, Finite Recruitment, Westfield, The Sydney Lord Mayor, Weight Watchers, Kids Help Line, Comedy For Cancer, The 2017 Special Olympics Ball and was thrilled and honored to host the inaugural ‘2017 Australian LGBTI Awards ’ at the Sydney Opera House.

Jackie is the only Australian comedian to be invited to perform at the famed Aspen Comedy Festival, the Dinah Shore Festival in Palm Springs and Women’s Week in Provincetown, USA.

Jackie has wowed audiences at Comedy Festivals across Australia and around the world including numerous solo comedy shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Sydney Comedy Festival, The TV1 New Zealand International Comedy Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Hollywood Fringe Festival and The Vodacom International Comedy Festival in South Africa where Jackie was labeled “The pick of the crop”.

Jackie is a strong, loyal and vocal supporter of the LGBTQI community and has performed at many fundraising events for people living with HIV including the annual ACON Comedy Debate.

When not on stage, Jackie composes music, eats chocolate and tries to burn calories by being ‘active’ on social media.

Jackie is currently producing and directing a brand spanking new sketch comedy series ‘The Middle- Agers’, developed specifically for the neglected and forgotten demographic…middle-aged people. Coming soon to an online platform near you!
